JifiCal was a smart event organiser concept that I worked on when working at Globant for our client Samsung.

PROJECT BRIEF (provided by the client)
Creating calendar events is tedious as manually filling in all the form fields is a repetitive task. And for users who are always busy, multi-tasking and juggling events; the need to create and save calendar events is a necessity in order to stay organised.
I was part of the design team and responsible for the design of the app. I worked alongside the UX Architect, producing all the major deliverables and presenting the final design to the client team. The deliverables included user research, ideation and creation of the UI screens and the final detailed design documentation.
HOW IT WORKS
It is intelligent and understands natural language. JifiCal can understand what you mean by night, weekend, dinner and so on.
It’s simple and efficient. JifiCal can be enabled for different calendars to create events quickly
It is quick and works even when you’re on the go. JifiCal can also suggest events based on the chat conversations.
For this project we started by creating a persona to represent the target user and created scenarios to better understand the use cases of the application.
We also did several iterations of the name and icon as the identity of the application would later be translated into the visual design.
This project was designed to be launched for the Indian market as part of a beta testing for the NLP program.
